- 2 Sweet potatoes
- 2 Potatoes
- 2 Red onions
- 2 Carrots
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 3 Thyme branches
- 400g Beef shoulder
- Red wine
Coarsely dice the vegetables in a bowl, season with olive oil, salt and pepper (recommended: thyme).
Cut the beef into cubes and season with salt, pepper and olive oil. Tip: you can sear the vegetables lightly before cooking.
Throw the vegetables and meat in the EasyCook pot, cover entirely with red wine and add 2 cups water.
Select the STEW setting and set it for 5 hours.
You can use the PRO setting in 2 stages:
Stage 1 = 120*c for 2½ hours
Stage 2 = 100*c for 2 hours
30 minutes before the end of stage 2 you can check if the meat and vegetables are soft. If they are not soft enough, keep cooking until the end of the program.
By the way, the EasyCook has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish and turn off the function, press and hold the "Warm/Cancel" button. The cooker will display all the programs, and the heating process will be over.
