 Milk and Rice Risotto

In Turkish, it’s called Sutlac, in English - Rice pudding, and in Spanish - Arroz de leche.

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup Rice (I used Jasmine)
  • 1L Milk
  • Sugar, to taste
  • 1 pack Heavy cream
  • Caramel
 
Preparation:
  • Set the EasyCook pot on the PRO setting on 120*c. 
  • Cook ½ cup rice in 1 cup water. When it’s all been absorbed, add a liter, yes, a liter! Of milk, 1 cup at a time, until absorbed.
  • Don’t forget to stir occasionally, since rice has a tendency to sink (Closing the lid helps faster absorption and faster, better cooking since it’s a hermetically sealed system).
 
Add sugar to taste.
My addition: Right at the end, add a container of heavy cream, you can use 15%.
 
Another upgrade of mine is to make caramel and pour it over the cooked pudding. 
Don’t be alarmed, bubbles will form. Chill and serve with some cinnamon on top.

By the way, the EasyCook has a heat preservation function that starts automatically after the cooking process is over. To finish and turn off the function, press and hold the "Warm/Cancel" button. The cooker will display all the programs, and the heating process will be over.
